Sea Foam Motor Treatment SF-16
LIQUID
Sea Foam Motor Treatment is a safe and versatile additive that
can be used in fuel, oil or added directly into the combustion chamber on 2-cycle, 4-cycle, rotary and diesel engines.
Sea Foam is a 100-percent pure petroleum product, so it is as safe for seals, o-rings, sensors and other fuel system and engine components as the fuel or motor oil that runs the engine. Sea Foam contains no harsh chemicals. Sea Foam Motor Treatment, 16 oz: Safe and versatile additive: Add to fuel, oil or combustion chamber: For 2-cycle, 4-cycle, rotary and diesel engines. HOW TO USE SEA FOAM IN FUEL
BENEFITS
Helps your entire fuel system run smoother & last longer
Cleans fuel injectors & carburetor passageways
Cleans intake valves & chamber deposits
Lubricates upper cylinders
Safe for all gasoline & diesel engines
DIRECTIONS
For regular fuel system maintenance, add 1 ounce per gallon.
For cleaning, use 2 or more ounces per gallon – the more you add to fuel, the better it cleans! Add when the tank is low to maximize cleaning concentration.
For injector cleaning machines, use 50/50 mixed with gas.
Use 100% Sea Foam for diesel injector cleaning machines or when priming diesel fuel filters.
For 2-stroke pre-mix, add 2 ounces per gallon.
When stabilizing fuel for storage, use 1 (one) ounce per gallon of fuel. Sea Foam works to stabilize stored fuel up to 2 years.
TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
For cars and trucks driven regularly: add to fuel every 3,000 miles.
Small engines: add whenever you refuel.
For engine equipment used regularly, add Sea Foam to a fresh tank fill every 3 months or sooner.
For all other engines and fuel tanks (not used regularly): Add Sea Foam to every tank of fuel.
SUMMARY
For cleaning a gasoline or diesel fuel system, it’s safe to add more Sea Foam to fuel. In fact, the more Sea Foam you add to fuel, the better it cleans!
Pour Sea Foam in your fuel tank to clean and lubricate your entire fuel system. It works through fuel injectors and carburetors to remove harmful residues and deposits from fuel passageways, intake valves, pistons, and chamber areas.
Made from petroleum ingredients, Sea Foam is safe and effective when used in all types of gasoline or diesel fuels and fuel blends. Sea Foam does NOT contain
HOW TO ADD SEA FOAM MOTOR TREATMENT TO CRANKCASE OIL
BENEFITS
When added to gasoline and diesel crankcase oil, Sea Foam Motor Treatment works to help:
Safely liquefy petroleum residues that restrict flow and lubrication.
Clean oil control rings, vvt solenoids and actuators.
Dissolve and clean deposits throughout the crankcase including diesel soot residues.
Clean and quiet noisy lifters and timing chain tensioners and reduce diesel injector stiction.
INSTRUCTIONS
First determine the engine’s crankcase oil capacity. Most autos and light trucks have 5 or 6 quart systems. Check in your vehicle’s owner’s manual for the size of your crankcase. One 16 ounce can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment treats up to 16 quarts of oil.
Add one ounce of Sea Foam Motor Treatment for every quart of oil in the crankcase. When ready, remove oil filler cap and pour the recommended amount of Sea Foam directly into the engine crankcase. Do not exceed one treatment per oil change interval.
NOTE:
Though Sea Foam can be added at any time between oil change intervals, we recommend adding Sea Foam to an oil crankcase 100 to 300 drive miles before changing oil and filter.
CONCLUSION
Sea Foam Motor Treatment can be used in every type of gasoline or diesel engine. When added to an engine’s oil crankcase, Sea Foam Motor Treatment works to clean and liquefy heavier oil deposits, so the residues will drain away when the oil is changed. Sea Foam cleans internal engine parts, prevents sludge and other harmful oil formations.
HOW TO USE SEA FOAM FOR ENGINE STORAGE AND STABILIZING FUEL
BENEFITS
Stabilizes stored fuel up to 2 years
Helps fuel resist evaporation
Preserves ignition vapors
Adds protective lubricity
Prevents gum & varnish formation
DIRECTIONS
Add at least 1 ounce of Sea Foam for each gallon of tank fuel.
Run the engine long enough for the treatment to work through the entire fuel system.
When possible, adding more Sea Foam when the tank is low will increase the cleaning and lubricating ratio when working the treatment into the engine. You can always fill the tank with fuel after preparing the upper engine areas for storage.
SUMMARY
Sea Foam Motor Treatment works to stabilize stored fuel up to 2 years. Adding Sea Foam to stored tanks helps fuel resist evaporation, preserves ignition vapors, adds protective lubricity, and prevents the formation of gum and varnish in fuel systems. Gum and varnish residues are the most common cause of poor engine function. Using Sea Foam in stored fuel will help your engines start easier and last longer.
tHE CAN FOR EVERY ENGINE
Cleans fuel injector and carburetor passageways
Cleans intake valve and chamber deposits
Lubricates upper cylinders
Works in crankcase oil to liquefy harmful residues & deposits
Stabilizes gas & diesel fuels up to 2 years
For any gas or diesel fuel blend
For all motor oils, conventional and synthetic
EXTRA DIRECTIONS
Instructions
:
Carefully read other precautions on side panel.
One pint treats 8 to 25 gal in all types of gas (Use 1 oz. per gal.) or 6 to 12 gal in all types of gas oil mix (Use 2 oz. per gal) for cleaning and stabilizing
. Add more to clean, less to maintain. Does not replace oil. Use continuously. For tune-up of small engines, slowly induce Sea Foam direct into fuel line or air intake system while engine is running. Stop and let exhaust. Repeat as needed. To Store & Fog Engines, slowly induce Sea Foam into air intake system and spark-plug holes, saturating internal parts. When aerosol Sea Foam is desired, use Sea Foam Spray Top Engine Cleaner & Lube.
Use Sea Foam every 2,000 to 5,000 miles for maintenance
